CANADA - Over the past year a series of distributing incidents involving the butchering of animals have been discovered in Ontario, Canada
According to the London Humane Society’s executive director, Judy Foster, "Over the last year there have been at least eight incidents involving 17 dead animals, including a skinned and beheaded bunny found on the Western University campus, a mutilated cat found in a park, six dead coyotes — two of them headless and skinned — placed in a pose in three different locations, and seven dead snakes left in a strange pose."
"A stabbed and partially skinned goose was dropped off at the humane society’s front door" Foster added.
Last week, police in London, Ont., responded to a report of a headless dog found on top of a recycling bin near a beer store. The animal had been skinned and was missing organs.
All the attacks of these animals were found with some form of mutilation, but there was no blood at the scenes, suggesting they were killed elsewhere and then posed for shock value.
According to Forster “The animals are incredibly clean.”
This sick bastard according to reports uses a scalpel and since the animal are cleaned, drained of blood and then brought to a location to be posed, it clear that these ritual killings take a large amount of time and planning, so there is no question this person is in serious and in desperate need of phyciatric help.
The larger question is when will animals no longer satisfy thirst and this killer moves on from animals?
This maniac started with wildlife, coyotes and geese, before moving on domesticated animals. His first was a bunny, then a cat and now a dog , it shows his pattern has been escalating, and the police may be running out of time before this killer starts targeting humans, most likely woman and children.
Some reports suggested that the animal killings, maybe copy cat killers, but, Michael Arntfield, a criminology professor at Western University, believes one person is behind all the incidents.
“This will continue to escalate,” he said in a phone interview. “This is not a prank, it’s not mischief, it’s sexual, it’s predatory, it’s high risk and it’s criminal.”
Arntfield, a former police officer, is confident that one of the incidents — the mutilated goose that was dropped off at the humane society — suggests the person has been with the humane society before.
Two years ago, Arntfield said he received a tip that someone was going to the London Humane Society claiming to be a rescuer and asking to adopt animals “with the sole purpose of torturing them and mutilating them.”
Arntfield told police and the humane society and urged them to examine the adoption files. Nothing happened, he said.
“This is a serial animal killer,” Arntfield said, calling it a clear case of zoosadism — being sadistic to an animal — with an underlying sexual component.
London police said they are taking the matter very seriously, but wildlife planet has its doubt about the authenticity of their claim. We have seen this before, most police departments do not take animal killings seriously, basically chalking it up to teenagers or gang initiations.
Const. Sandasha Bough said the force has assigned an investigator to the case, but noted they were only made aware of two incidents — two dead coyotes found in a grocery store last February and the beheaded dog last week.
These barbaric acts have been going on almost a year and most of the residents in Ontario are probably not even aware of what is happening inside their community.
The London police best get their act together, and quickly, because if they believe this sick bastard who ever he or she is will simply go away they are as delirious as this killer is.
